We are heading out to Haiti in just a few hours. We've got our bags packed with lots of organizing supplies. Between the three of us we are taking 300 pounds (that includes our clothes too) of things to use and leave there! We will keep you posted on how the trip goes. We will arrive at Hope for Haiti on Sunday afternoon. I can't wait to see the children again....I am sure that have grown so much since I was there almost two years ago! And I am ready to get started organizing and teaching the children how important organization it!

Here’s another quick tip to keep in mind the next time you are on the road again! Bring your hotel room key card home with you! As an organizer, I usually don’t encourage people to bring more home than they left with other than a meaningful souvenir, but I recently learned an almost frightening fact about hotel room key cards. Apparently all of your personal information that you provide the hotel with when reserving a room is stored on your room key card. The hotel only clears your information from the card when it is reused for another guest. <

Travelling seems to be more and more complicated these days due to new security regulations.  While I appreciate being protected, the hoops you have to jump through can sometimes be a bit annoying!  I travelled to Las Vegas over the Fourth of July holiday and getting there was a bit taxing.  To successfully pass through security I had to remove my belt, coat, and shoes as well as have my lotions, liquids and gels in 3 oz. containers or smaller AND in a quart size bag…no exceptions!  So once I made it through security with my appropriately sized lotions, liquids and gels and redressed, I was ready to buy that three dollar bottle of water and head to my gate.
