Janice Russell, Founder/Overseer of Order
Janice Russell, CPO-CD, COC, founded Minding Your Matters® Organizing in 2002. Janice’s unparalleled organizational skills were developed and honed through 13 years of experience in the corporate world and the educational arena. Not only is Janice organized – thanks to her experience as a public school teacher, she has the ability to teach others how to better organize themselves. Janice earned a degree in psychology from Duke University, enabling her to implement organizing methods that match the needs and personality of each individual client. Since founding Minding Your Matters®, Janice and her team have helped over 275 business and residential clients overcome a variety of organizing challenges. Her favorite part is when a client has an "ah-ha moment" that helps them develop systems to increase productivity and organization.
When she's not organizing, Janice is addicted to travel, having visited 6 of the 7 continents. She also loves to spend time with her cute nephews and is an avid Duke basketball fan who cheers her heart out at Cameron Stadium. Learn more about Janice
Kc Coolbaugh, Senior Professional Organizing Consultant/Senior Order Maker
Kc Coolbaugh joined Minding Your Matters® in May of 2005. Kc's professional experience includes helping a wide range of clients establish order from chaos, whether it is in the home or the office. She is able to determine their particular needs, create a plan, then work with the client to reach their goals. Kc’s passion for order carries over into her love of photos, where she preserves/archives photographs and other memorabilia into custom designed albums. Kc has experience managing human resource and financial tasks in a corporate environment and implementing training programs in a variety of settings. She also worked for 5 years as a tutor in Winchester, England for Mentally Challenged adults. Her favorite clients are those with an easy sense of humor and a strong desire to change.
When she's not organizing, Kc loves to travel, fish, read, scrapbook and spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Learn more about Kc
Jennifer Wig Suarez, Writing and Marketing Professional
Jennifer Wig joined Minding Your Matters® in 2010 to work as a professional organizer. That same year, she began her own business, The Final Drafts, which helps small business owners with writing and marketing, including blogging, media relations and newsletters. While Jennifer no longer organizes, she helps Janice and Kc maintain order by blogging, editing videos and managing other marketing tasks.
She married in 2012. In her free time, Jennifer loves to ride her bicycle on Raleigh's greenways, cook, read, write and learn new things. She's currently studying Spanish and learning basic programming. Learn more about Jennifer
April Hamilton, Bookkeeper
April Hamilton has over eight years of bookkeeping experience. Her background in accounting enables our organizing professionals to focus on their top priority: helping clients overcome the challenges that stand between them and effectiveness.
Kathy McCabe, Administrative Support
Kathy McCabe is an administrative professional with more than 10 years of experience. Kathy’s organizational skills and experience providing administrative support to a wide range of companies are a key component of our plan to provide clients with reliable, seamless service.
