Our Favorite Organizing Products
There are many companies that sell organizing products.* Before you consider acquiring any of these products, please consider that purchasing organizing containers will not “make you organized”. It is best to determine what needs to be stored, where it will “live”, and the best way to store it. Our 9 Free Tips and Get Organized This Year! book have more specific suggestions for choosing appropriate containers.
We have an affiliation with some of the companies listed below. When you order any products from the links on this page, you receive great products and Minding Your Matters® receives a commission. Please help support this website by using the links provided.

The All-Purpose Shoe Pocket Organizer
Shoe organizers that go on closet doors and have shoe pockets are useful on almost any door of the house. In the office, supplies such as ink cartridges, pens, pencils, paperclips, etc. can be housed in the pockets. On the coat closet door, items such as small umbrellas, mittens, and hats can easily be stored in the shoe pockets. On a linen closet door, extra toiletries and first aide supplies fit nicely into the pockets. Having these pockets on a pantry door is a good way to store spices, teas, and other cooking-related ingredients. In a child's room, small toys, jewelry, hair fixing implements, or art supplies would be appropriate for clear plastic pockets. The possibilities for these shoe pocket organizers are endless.
