If you don't like decluttering, then you most likely put it off until you can't stand the clutter anymore. By then you are tired, frustrated, or any number of other less pleasant emotions. This doesn't put you in the best frame of mind to tackle the task of deleting stuff. I suggest following the advice of Karen Kingston, who states "Discover when you are at your most decisive and do your clearing then." If you are well-fed, refreshed, and feeling good, it will be easier to make some of the hard decisions associated with decluttering your stuff. Yes, I know that you would rather be doing something else, but consider that if you don't delete items from your space on a regular basis you will get just as tired and frustrated when you are looking for something you need and that you know you have but that you can't find. Become proactive rather than reactive when it comes to clearing the clutter.
